We recognize that waiting for support can feel stressful, and you’ve already shown strength by reaching out. Our team is committed to honouring your experience and will connect with you as soon as capacity allows. In the meantime, you’re not alone — there are many caring community resources ready to stand with & support you.

  • Because demand for our programs is very high, we can’t always begin direct support immediately. “Awaiting services” means your referral is in our queue. We will be in touch to arrange your intake as soon as we can.

  • Yes. Although our own direct services may be delayed, many community partners offer counselling, crisis support and advocacy.

  • Depending on the nature of services you require, you may wish to access:

    • Local counselling services offering short-term or sliding-scale therapy

    • Peer support groups and community organizations focused on healing and empowerment

  • We review our waitlist daily and will contact you by phone or email as soon as capacity opens. If your situation changes - such as a new safety concern, an upcoming court date or other urgent need - please let us know right away. This helps us update your referral and prioritize accordingly.
