“Before contacting EFry, I was at the lowest point in my life.
I hadn’t dealt with the abuse that I endured as a child & suffered silently for many years.
I am now more capable to reach the power within myself to get through anything that comes my way with self respect & dignity.”

Adult Counselling Program
Our Adult Counselling Program provides specialized, trauma-informed support for adult survivors of sexual violence in the Central Okanagan. This vital service offers affordable and inclusive counselling to individuals of all genders, including women, men, and members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. We support those impacted by both recent and historical experiences of sexual abuse.
Counselling for Children & Youth
The Sexual Abuse Intervention Program (SAIP) offers free, trauma-informed counselling and support for children and youth under the age of 19 who have experienced sexual violence.
Our services are developmentally appropriate, accessible, and rooted in safety, compassion, and respect. We provide assessment, therapeutic counselling, case coordination, and advocacy in a supportive environment.
SAIP works with children, youth, and their families or caregivers to support healing, promote healthy relationships, and reduce the risk of further harm.
Holding Hope
Psycho-Educational Group for Adult Survivors of Sexual Violence
Holding Hope is a six-week, trauma-informed group for adult survivors (19+). The program aims to reduce isolation, provide evidence-based coping strategies, and foster meaningful connection among participants.
Through guided discussions and psychoeducation on the effects of trauma on the brain and body, the group offers a supportive space to explore the impacts of sexual violence. Sessions also focus on themes such as intimacy after trauma, releasing shame and guilt, and rebuilding self-esteem—helping participants feel empowered, connected, and supported in their healing journey.
